He was a setter on his high school team and started competing in beach volleyball doubles and quads tournaments at this time. Josh went on to play volleyball for Hope International University in the NAIA conference. Josh started coaching club and high school volleyball in 1994 and brings over 20 years of coaching experience.
Josh has coached top level 16s and 18s teams ever since. Over the last 10 years Josh could be found running the volleyball program for King's Way Christian Schools and leading their varsity volleyball program to district championships and placing as high as 4th at the Washington State High School Tournaments. During this time his club teams have worked hard an won multiple CEVA tournaments.
